As much as I hate to admit it, I think there is one major problem with my Jeep and that's the vertical angle of the windshield. It's like it takes rocks straight on and in over one year I have 5 chips in my windshield. I called KDOT and they told me they sweep the short stretch of highway I travel on my commute every two weeks - but I find that hard to believe. So, today, I bit the $100 deductible bullet and had Safelite replace my windshield outside my office. The guys told me they do replace a lot of Jeep windshields.

Same problem with my car. I have four major chips. I just have the repair done. If there were in my line of site might be another story!
